Privacy Policy

CLIPCO ("we", "us") operates clipco.app, a platform where creators run clip campaigns and clippers submit TikTok, Instagram and YouTube clips whose views earn campaign payouts. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. For questions or requests, contact info@sparkyourbusiness.net.

Discord sign-in. When you log in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar. We use the ID as your identity across CLIPCO and the CLIPCO Discord server. We never see your Discord password.

TikTok account connection. If you connect your TikTok account through TikTok's Login Kit, we receive your TikTok display name, avatar and an app-scoped identifier (open ID). With your permission (the video.listscope) we also read the list of your public TikTok videos and their statistics — view, like, comment and share counts — through TikTok's official Display API. We use this only to verify that a submitted clip belongs to you and to count its views for campaign payouts. We do not post on your behalf, read private content, or access your TikTok password.

Submissions. Clip links you submit, the campaign they belong to, and publicly visible engagement statistics for those clips.

Payout records. Campaign standings and amounts owed, computed from clip views.

To operate the service: verifying account ownership, tracking campaign clip views, computing leaderboards and payouts, preventing fraud (such as duplicate or fabricated submissions), and granting the corresponding roles in the CLIPCO Discord server.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Our infrastructure runs on Vercel (web app) and Microsoft Azure (API and database), in European regions. Data from TikTok is obtained via TikTok for Developers APIs under their terms; Discord data via Discord's OAuth API. We share data with no other third parties.

We keep your data while your account participates in campaigns or while records are needed for payouts. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time via the contact above; we will remove it unless a legal obligation requires keeping a record.

You can disconnect your TikTok account from CLIPCO at any time, and you can additionally revoke CLIPCO's access inside the TikTok app under Settings → Security → Manage app permissions. Discord access can be revoked in your Discord User Settings under Authorized Apps. After revocation we stop receiving data from that platform.

We use only the session cookie required to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of CLIPCO after a change means you accept the updated policy.
